Memorial Day Weekend!

WE HAD A FUN WEEKEND. THURSDAY BRAD AND I WENT TO SALT LAKE FOR A GET AWAY. WE CAME BACK SATURDAY AND SWAM ALL DAY WITH THE KIDS. SUNDAY AFTER CHURCH WE TOOK OUR TRAILER UP TO KOLOB AND CAMPED FOR THE NIGHT. ITS AMAZING HOW FAST 4 DAY WEEKENDS GO BY. YESTERDAY AVRIE FELL AND HIT HER HEAD ON THE BED RAILS AND GOT A HUGE GOOSE EGG. HER HEAD LOOKS MUCH BETTER IN THIS PICTURE THAT I TOOK TODAY BUT ITS STILL BAD. IT WAS KYLE AND ANNIE'S FIRST DAY OF SAFETY TOWN SO THEY WERE REALLY EXCITED AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE .

Busy!

We've had a busy couple of weeks!

* kyle's kindergarten graduation.

* Annie's pre school graduation.

* Ball games everynight but Monday.

* Fathers and sons ( my girls and I had a party while they were gone.)

* Tylers 2nd grade program.

* Katelyn's choir performances.

* worked on putting the yard back together. The sprinklers and grass are being done right now - Yea!

* installed a t.v. outside so we could watch the jazz games while we swim. We are still waiting on the patio furniture.

* went to Salt Lake last weekend. Brad and I are going up north today for a couple retreat

* And saved the best for last - I hired my 16 year old neighbor to help me keep my house clean. I'm so excited. Basically she is going to do the things that I can't seem to get too ( baseboards, windows, blinds, laundry etc..)

Well thats what the Bakers have been up too. I can't believe the last day of school is today! Crazy!

Brace Face

I went to the orthodontist on Friday. I got bands put on my top 6 teeth and my wires tightened. Lets just say I totally hate braces! I often ask myself why I got them the 2nd time in the first place but then I remember all the migraine headaches I would have every single day because of my temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ). Now I only get them once or twice a month so it's been a big improvement. The last couple of days I havent been able to eat too much because my teeth are so dang sore. I know this post is poor Sara but it sucks to not be able to eat when your starving. I asked the orthodontist when my braces are going to be off for good and he said 3 or 4 months. I swear thats what he told me last time. When I do get them off I'm going to need to get them cleaned but have really sensitive teeth. Does anybody know of good dental hygienist that will totally put me out so I don't have to feel the pain?

Freaked Out!

We have had a lot things stolen in our neighborhood lately - it's freaking me out. One of my neighbors had her car stolen right out of her garage on Sunday! Another had their truck windows all broken out. Someone also had random things taken from inside their house ( make up, jewerly, lap top) in the middle of the day. Another neighbor had her wallet stolen and credit cards had been racked up. There have been many more things stolen from other neighbors too. I get so freaked out about that kind of stuff. I think we are going to start a neighborhood watch because our streets have really been targeted lately. I for sure don't feel safe anymore!
