When I pulled up to the house yesterday Katelyn and Kyle were on the roof. They were in trouble.I helped Brad pack the tubs up the stairs.

This is our familyroom/kitchen

The radiant heat is done

Kyle and Katelyn still freaking me out on the roof

Annie barefoot - luckily she didn't step on a nail.

Upstairs looking down at the entry

Brad showing off his muscles

Almost done

Talked to the framers yesterday to see when they would be done. They said they should be finishing up by the end of next week. I sure hope so. I am so ready for them to be done.

Annie and Avrie love to put their aprons on and help me cook dinner.Last night we made homemade pizza. We make homemade pizza from a box. Annie's really getting into grating the cheese.

Avrie stirring the dough.

I was surprised we had enough pepperoni's for the pizza. Annie and Avrie kept eating them.
The pizza turned out great.

Avrie had her kindergarten physical yesterday. She had her eyes tested, urine tested, blood tested and had to get 4 shots. She did way better then I expected. She is really shy around people she doesn't know but yesterday she actually did what the doctor needed her to do and even answered questions when she was asked. She was scared to death when the nurse brought the shots in. I felt so bad she was shaking and pleading with me not to let them give her a shot. There were a few tears and she said, "I'm never going to the doctor again." But other than that she did great. I felt bad and spoiled her with a happy meal afterwards. as you can see that made everything better. This week Brad has been working on the radiant heat for the upstairs.

He has spent every night after work strapping the pipes to the ceiling.
He will finish the radiant piping tonight and then he will be working on the gas piping tomorrow.
As for me - I'm off to 4 SEP meetings with 4 of my kids teachers.

Public Auction

Yesterday I went out to get the mail and found this beauty taped on the door. That's right, the home we are renting is officially going under. We found out a week before Christmas that the house was possibly going into foreclosure but the owner told us that her dad was trying to buy it from the bank because he has some money into it. Well as you can see, it is up for a public auction on March 19th. It is frustrating because we have been paying our rent every month but we still are going to be booted out. It is so hard finding a rental especially when you have 5 kids and the house we are building will be done in 3 months. Who is going to rent to us anyway? Well, so today my goal is to find a place. A place where we can fit all of our stuff. Man, I hate the thought of moving again and yet again in another few months. Never a dull moment with the Bakers.

Condensing what?

The oral surgeon just called me and told me that I have condensing osteitis. I guess you can get it from injury to the bone etc... He said everything looks normal I just have really hard bone there. He thinks it was probably caused by the orthodontist moving my teeth around. I did have braces twice so that makes sense to me. Anyway, he said that he was glad that we tested it because there are all kinds of bone diseases that it could have been but luckily not. So, I am so happy that I will not be losing any of my jaw because it just wasn't in the house budget to get a new set of teeth! Now lets hope my blood tests come back saying no diabetes.

It's coming along!

So our house is still being framed. It is starting to look like I imagined it would.

I am getting so excited for our house to get done. The framers are taking longer than I expected but hopefully by the time they are done, Brad will be finishing up the plumbing and HVAC. We are still trying to be done by May 1st.

I came across this picture and had to post it. This was taken about 4 years ago. Look how small our kids are. I remember Brad and I would always get looks from people when we took our kids places. People would always ask us if they were all ours and how close they were in age. They were fun when they were little but fun now too that they are getting older. Aren't they cute!!!

Ever since I found out that I could have cancer or some other form of bone disease in my jaw I haven't been able to sleep very well at night. It has been a rough 5 days mentally as well as physically because of all the blood tests and doctor apointments. I am now taking up to 14 pills a day. I haven't had much of an appetite thus making me weak. But when I can't sleep I tend to clean.( I get that from my mom.) So Monday I had the house in tip top shape, all the laundry done, all the kids valentines bought and ready and dinner prepared. I didn't want to come home to a messy house Tuesday after my surgery. My bone biopsy was yesterday morning and I think that things are looking good. The doctor is confident that it is not cancer now. He said my bone was as Hard as marble when he was trying to drill through it. We still don't know if It is some other bone disease were I will have to lose some of my jaw and teeth but I'm hoping thats not the case. I should have my results by next Tuesday. I am feeling pretty good now just really sore. I thought you guys would get a good laugh at this picture. I'm a hottie huh!Brad and all the kids have taken good care of me. Katelyn even offered to make homemade pizza for dinner. I of course had to have soup and pudding.

I'm hoping all my tests come back good but if not we will just have to deal with the results the best we can.

Avrie has been miss independant lately. I caught her making herself some chocolate milk.

I got some more pictures of the house yesterday. This is the entry way.

I just got back from the doctor and have to get more blood tests. Yuck!
