Monday night fun

We watched Mikaela for the day yesterday while her mom had her new baby. Annie and Avrie had so much fun playing with her and they were glad she could have a sleep over with them. Brad and all the other kids put together our new basketball hoop.

Our Lazy Weekend.

Brad and I borrowed season #1 of "Alias" from Mike and Meagan the other night. We had never seen it before so we thought we would try it out. Well me and Brad are hooked now. Mike has all 5 seasons and each season is about 20 hours long. We have seen the whole 1st season and are now into the 2nd, so as you can see we were pretty lazy this weekend - pretty pathetic huh? Lately Avrie has been wanting me to take her picture. I think she want's to be a model like her cousin Phoebe. Ha Ha. Hey, at least she's smiling and not making her funny expression face.

Our Fun Cruise!

I just found my scanner a few days ago and so I finally got around to scanning our cruise pictures. We went on a cruise in October with my family and it was alot of fun. My dad had just broken his arm and had surgery so he was on drugs the whole time and doesn't remember alot of it but he was sure acting like he was having fun. Me and Brads room caught on fire in the morning after I had just barely rolled out of bed. My sister Mandi and her husband were kind enough to let us stay in their room until the smoke was gone. Boy, that was a trip to remember. No, I think all of us had alot of fun. We need to go on another cruise again!

DisneyLand!

I thought this was the funniest picture of my kids - you can just see the terror in their faces. Surprisingly they loved it and all went on it again.

We went to Disneyland last Thursday and Friday and had so much fun. We went with my sister Mandi and her family. The lines were very short and we got on each ride pretty fast. The weather was cold and windy though so my kids came back with cough's and runny noses. All the kids but Avrie could go on about every ride so it was nice. The kids were very brave on some of the bigger rides - I was amazed that Annie loved the "Tower of Terror."

Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles!

The only thing interesting that happened this week was with Annie and Avrie. They decided to take a bubble bath because they got some bubble bath from their Grandma Jane. Well, when I went upstairs to check on them I realized that both bottles of their bubble bath were emptied out into the tub. There were suds and bubbles everywhere. So, I decided to drain the tub and try to get them all rinsed off. All of a sudden I hear Katelyn downstairs laughing and Brad yelling "What's going on?" I ran down stairs to find the downstairs toilet overflowing with bubbles! Our plumbing pipes were full of bubbles. I think we will stay away from bubble baths for awhile. Merry Christmas and Happy New 2007!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2007! We had a fun Christmas. This year was the first time we didn't have to wake our kids up. All the kids slept together upstairs in the playroom. Katelyn decided it would be fun to wake them all up. She got on the speaker at 4:00 a.m. and yelled "Is it time yet"? When I went upstairs to check on them they were all up watching T.V. They never fell back to sleep but Brad and I didn't let them come downstairs until 6:45. So, we were all pretty tired but had a great Christmas. Scrappy

We got a mini doberman pincher named "Scrappy" in October. We are hoping he doesn't get much bigger than this. Our cat "Tinkerbell" who is almost 21 in cat years isn't to fond of him but my kids think he's the best. :)

Halloween Fun

Ok, this Halloween was alot of fun. I couldn't believe how busy our neighborhood was with trick or treaters. I bought about 10 bags of candy thinking I would have plenty left over but boy was I wrong. Kids started coming at about 5:30 and I was out of candy by 7:00. Did I mention that my kids buckets were full of big candy bars, capri suns and bags of chips? I thought it was kind of funny that we were the only ones handing out minature candy bars and tootsie rolls.

We moved to our new house in August just 2 days before school started. We are enjoying our ward and new neighborhood. My kids are loving their new school and glad that it is only 2 short blocks up the road.
