Elevations!

We just got back our elevations for our new house. I love the way they have turned out. Now we just need to get started and be in it before Christmas! These are not the colors that are going to be on the house but these are what were sent to us. I was hoping to post a shot of the house straight on and the floorplan but I couldn't get it to work because they are a different file, anyway this is all I have for the moment.

New Years Eve!

We went to Beaver New Years Eve and had a party with my parents and Mandi and Aaron and their kids. We watched the jazz game and played games. Also Brad dared Tyler to stick his tongue on the table outside of my parents house. Beaver is really cold. Well Brad didn't think he would do it but he did and sure enough it stuck solid. It freaked Brad out and he ran in the house to get some water to pour on it. Tyler looked just like the kid from the christmas story who stuck his tongue on the flagpole. He was crying and pretty much couldn't talk. Luckily Brad poured the water on his tongue and it came off but it was really red and sore after that.Brad felt pretty bad after that. Here are some pictures of us playing Guesstures and the kids playing in the cold snow.

Christmas!

We had a great Christmas. We told the kids they couldn't come out of their rooms until we came and got them so at about 7:00 is when we let them come in the familyroom. Santa brought our whole family bikes and a Wii and the kids got other little things. We stayed home most of the day. It was nice to relax. Brad actually had a couple of weeks off so it was nice.

On Christmas Eve we went to the Bakers and had a fun get together. We sang songs, ate and performed the nativity of course.

Christmas parties!

Well I'm finally updating - it's only been about 3 weeks. We had both of our family Christmas parties the Saturday before Christmas. First we went to the Bakers and made gingerbread houses with the kids while the guys and some of the boys went shooting. Then we just hung out, ate pizza and had lots of fun. We had the Campbell party that evening. We met at Mandi's and let the kids open their presents from my parents. My mom made all the grandkids cute little pound puppies that were all different. My kids loved them! Then Katelyn and her friends watched the kids for the rest of the night while the adults got together at Mike and Meagans for food and games. We all had lots of fun.
