Update on Kyle's arm

I went with Kyle to his doctor appointment today for another follow up. His hand is still not functioning right. There has been no improvement for the past 3 months with his nerves. He can feel a little with it but his radial nerve was damaged and is still not functioning. He can't lift up his wrist and straighten out his fingers and can barely move his thumb. On Monday he is going to a nerve specialist. They are going to test his upper extremity nerves ( I can't remember what it's called) to check and see if there is any nerve activity. The doctor told me we are now into decision time. If there is no activity he could have another surgery to try and repair it but the doctor said that sometimes it can come out worse. If there is some nerve activity we would just wait and hope that it gets better. So thats not exactly the news I was hoping for but at least he's still alive.

Snow Canyon

We went to snow canyon saturday morning with the Andrus'. We parked in the parking lot next to the toll booth and biked around the trails. It was a nice day and so pretty. We stopped by the sand dunes on the way back and let the kids have fun playing and getting really dirty. Afterwards me Brad and Tyler and Kyle rode our bikes home ( back to Santa Clara ) I'm thinking it was 6 miles or so. It was alot of fun.

It's so nice to have school finally over with for awhile. I have enjoyed sleeping in and not having to be anywhere - it has been great. I don't know what we will be doing this summer but I'm sure we will be taking it easy.

I'm back

Yay, I finally have the internet. I have been lost without it. We are all moved and settled into our new place. We are renting a formal parade home. I love lots of things about it ( the layout, private courtyard, double pantry's in the kitchen, balcony, etc..) but there are some things that drive me crazy. There is carpet under the kitchen table, high tech phone system that seriously took me a week to figure out how to answer the phone and make phone calls and a few other things but we are enjoying being in our old ward again - it's been fun. The kids have already been staying up late with friends and playing night games. We are renting until the end of October. We have no idea if we are going to build or just buy a home. There are about 5 foreclosures in our neighborhood so we are thinking that might be the way to go. Who knows.

We finally found a place!

We just found a place to rent about an hour ago. This house is 2 houses down from our other house we sold 6 months ago so we will be in our old ward again. I'm also so glad that we are by the school again so I won't be driving 10 times a day.

Going Private!

The last few weeks have been busy for our family. We have been packing and decluttering the house. We close on our house this Thursday and have to be out by the following Monday. The funny thing is that we have no idea where we are going to live. We have been looking but haven't had much luck yet, hopefully we find something soon - we have 5 days and counting.
