Thanksgiving 2009

We had a great thanksgiving. We went to my mom and dads this year. We filled up on yummy food and just hung out. We also managed to snap a few family pictures. Sorry for the picture over load.My cute kids

Halloween!

I thought I would update Halloween since Thanksgiving is tomorrow. For Halloween our ward did a trunk or treat. It was fun and the kids got lots of candy. My family came over later that night and my mom made homemade pumpkin soup and rolls. We watched Hocus Pocus and pigged out on pine nuts and candy.Kyle the nerd

katelyn also turned 12 on October 30th. I can't believe I have a young woman now.

And the craziest thing the only trick or treaters that showed up to our house were our neighbors. That's what happens when you are the only 2 houses that live in a subdivision.

Feeling Fat :(

That's how you feel when you stock up on Halloween candy and then sneak pieces out of the bags while the kids are at school and the husband is at work. Am I the only one that does this?

I have been a slacker on updating my blog. So I thought I would update on whats been going on. I was put into the relief society presidency last month as the educational counselor. I am extremely afraid of getting up in front of people but now I have to. Atleast I only have to give 4 lessons a year and conduct 4 months out of the year. Can you tell Im stressed out. The week I was called we had our first funeral - that was stressful and we will probably have many more because their are lots of old people in our ward. Oh well life goes on. Brad was put in as the Cub Master and he is loving it. Plumbing is starting to pick up again and we have a couple of homeshows for next year that we have started on. I'm hoping things will stay this way or get better. I can't believe how many plumbing companies have gone out of business. We have been fortunate that we are still in business. The kids are all doing well in school and Katelyn is starting to enjoy playing the flute ( I think). I help out in Avries class on Tuesdays and she likes me being there which is nice. This month I turned 35 and Kyle turned 9 and can't believe that Katelyn will turn 12 next month and be in young womans. Time is flying by. Well sorry for the ramblings I will go now. My new goal is to update this blog at least once a week. See ya.

Happy Birthday Brad! I'm a little late in posting but Brad turned 35 on August 13th. Brenda made him a carrot cake again for his birthday and we had a barbeque out in the backyard.
